Car history: |
Seven Hills Motorcars is glad to offer this 1972 Corvette Coupe that is a great driver. This is one of the best values for not just a '72 Corvette, but any "chrome bumper" coupe on the market right now. The car looks great, runs well, and is a ton of fun, especially with the 4-speed. One could easily buy this car now and sell it for more than your purchase price with minimal work and effort. Please peruse all of the photos below to get a true sense of this Corvette.

Exterior The red exterior is in nice driver condition. As one can see in the photos, the paint has nice gloss, good shine, and smooth finish. The chrome bumpers and other brightwork on the car show well with no major rust or pitting. Often many Corvettes will have particularly chipped up front ends, this car does not. The tires appear to have about 70% tread left. The wheels are in good condition with a nice finish and no curb rash on the beauty rings.
Interior The black interior of the Corvette looks splendid. The seats look almost brand new with no rips, splits seams, or signs of wear. The carpet throughout the car is also in "like new" condition. The dash is in wonderful condition with no cracks, fading, or sun damage. The door panels look great with no cracks or splits, but the skins are a bit wavy in spots. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma whatsoever.
Mechanical This car seems to be in good mechanical condition. It starts right away every time, idles well, runs well. The Corvette drives great; it is smooth on the road and at highway speeds. The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. The car shifts well, does not pop out of gear, and the clutch feels good. There are no issues that I am aware of that immediately affect the drivability of the car, but I am sure it could stand some maintenance and overall mechanical improvements. All of the lights work as does the horn and blower for the heater on all speeds. The entire vacuum system for the headlights and wiper door works correctly from both their respective switches on the dash and override switches. This car is a pleasure to drive, especially with the 4-speed transmission and t-tops out on a nice day.
Overall, this 1972 Corvette is in good driver condition. This car turns heads and gets ton of attentions wherever it goes. In my opinion and based on our experience the "Chrome Bumper" cars from 1968-1972 are the most collectible in the entire Corvette market right now. Of those years, the 1969 and 1972 are the most desirable. The value of these cars has gone up exponentially in recent years. They are all solid investments for a collector. The frame rails on this Corvette have been repaired and welded. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal effort.
Thank You, Matt Milbrandt
